So we were able to take a trip down to Watsonville to go apple picking today. I did this a few times while living in Boston and knew Cason would have a good time picking his own apples and running around the farm. We ended up with 10lbs of apples, but the way Cason and Steve go through apples I am not too worried about wasting them. I might actually get to eat some of them this week. We already ate 4 today just as snacks.

Fall apple picking
Well the nicest thing about my new job is that there is no longer "busy season"!!!! Now don't get me wrong I am still busy with it being a new job, but I don't have to work crazy hours on the weekends to prepare or finish up an audit right now. That leave me with time on the weekends to experience my favorite season of the year. Fall! It has been 5 years since I have had a quiet fall and I am taking advantage of it. Well "quiet" with two kids under the age of 3 doesn't exist, especially with our chatter bug Cason, but at least it isn't work craziness that is keeping us busy.
