We decided to beat the heat for an hour or so and went on the Palm Springs Tramway. It was only 15 minutes from where we were staying. We went up to 8,750 ft. in 11 minutes on the tram and welcomed 60 degree weather. The trip was fun and the views were great. The pine trees smelled amazing and reminded me of Flagstaff college days. We flew out in the afternoon and Cason got a seat, but unfortunately decided to stay awake for the whole flight this time which was exhausting for us.
