We had a few more days in So. Cal and took some pictures of the four generations... Great-grandma Anne, Pappa Ken, Mommy Tricia, and baby Cason. We also made a quick stop to Ryan's future home in Lakewood.
We left on Saturday morning to drive back up to the bay area. We made it back home safely through the snow! Thank goodness the weather was not as bad as the forecasters predicted. This time I timed it a little better and Cason was a champ going home. We fed him at 7:30 and took off at 8:30ish when he looked like he was ready for his morning nap. Mom and I made it through a snowy Grapevine, but the snow level was at about 3,000 ft and not too bad. It was smooth sailing and we stopped at In-and-Out for lunch and Cason woke up as soon as we stopped the car. Good timing! He got fed, we ate lunch, played a little and we were back on the road. We hit a large cloud burst in Gilroy where it snowed heavily on us. Luckily the car read 36 degrees so it wasn't sticking too much.
Grammie GG baby sat and Steve and I went out to see the King's Speech since it was an Oscar favorite to win. Cason and I had a great week in So. Cal, it was great to see everyone and get spoiled with food, presents, and great company!
