Rory and I went to Arizona two weeks ago and I think this mom is still recovering. We went out to see the Uchacz family and spend the weekend hanging out. Well Rory and I hopped on a plane and left the boys at home. She did great on the plane and slept through half of the ride. Upon getting to Amy's house she crawled up in my lap as she was shy due to the new surroundings and she felt warm. I took her temp and it was 101.3. So not a good way to start as I had only been there 10 minutes at this point. Well we gave her tylenol and the fever came down. She took a napa and it was up to 103.4 when she woke up. So we headed off to urgent care and they determined she had "hand, foot, mouth disease". Fantastic!
This sickness has no cure and we just had to ride it out. Luckily she was over it in 2 days, but that was our entire trip. So hanging with a sick baby was not my idea of the perfect getaway. Oh well we managed and Amy chased after us with Lysol the entire weekend. (Hand foot mouth is extremely contagious). Here are a few pictures from the trip.
