Half Moon Bay

It's October!  We wasted no time heading out to the pumpkin patch this weekend.  Well, Grammie and Papa were in town on their way back from their vacation in Tahoe, so we decided to take our day trip out to Half Moon Bay to see the pumpkin farms.  Half Moon Bay has a crazy annual pumpkin festival each year which brings in 1,000 lbs+ pumpkins to be judged.  It is in 2 weeks and is quite the draw around the Bay area.  Being that the City is one of Steve and my clients for the past 3 years in the month of September, we have seen the farms prepare for the season.  This year, since we have Cason, we set out to visit one of the farms.  The farm we went to is "Farmer John's Pumpkin Patch".  We personally know him, since he was the mayor last year for the City and I have to present to City Council each year on their audit.  He had a great farm and we can't wait to go back next year when Cason will be big enough to really enjoy it.
