Five months old

Such a big month Cason.  You changed more this month than any other we think.  The biggest two changes are that you are rolling all over the place and you are grabbing things and holding on to them.  We have already learned that we need to watch you better now as you roll very quickly and we need to start '"babyproofing" the living room.  No more leaving anything out or you will roll across it and it will end up in your mouth.  You are also grabbing at everything.  You can hold onto most things and like your teething toys.
You are really starting to understand the jumper and really go to town, but you still enjoy jumping on our laps.  You eat a crazy amount of food and we have to supplement with formula as your mommy no matter how hard she tries can't make enough for you.  She can usually get about 26-28 oz for you to eat, but you are now at 32-35oz a day.  Solid food is right around the corner!
You are starting to learn how to scoot.  You have the feet and knees downpat, but the arms need to get with the program.  Right now you are putting your head on the ground, pushing with your feet, then slide your arms up... it is entertaining to watch, but we fear you are going to be mobile soon.
You are becoming a very happy baby and a big flirt when we are out.  It has been a busy and fun month and we are excited for what is coming up next month.
