Itsy, Bitsy Spider

Well excuse the outfit, we were in Hawaii, so I guess pants are optional due to the humidity.  We will try to have him better dressed next time.  Here is Cason performing Itsy, Bitsy Spider.

Jump Jump

Our friend held a fundraiser for her Avon Breast Cancer walk which included a small bounce house this Saturday.  Cason was very timid and liked to watch everyone bounce for the first 30 mins.  He slowly inched his way closer and then I figured out he just didn't want to squeeze through the door.  So I lifted in up and over the wall and the jumping began.  I guess I kept saying, "jump, jump" because after I took him out he would point and would say more "jump jump".

New chairs

We received our chairs for our breakfast nook this week and Cason had to immediately climb up and stake his claim.  Then after that was done, he demanded milk!  He then proceeded to get bossy and insist that Momma and Dada sit in certain chairs and watch him drink milk. Silly kid.

19 months old

The months go quickly around here and things are busy.  Our little "tree hugger" is a busy boy and keeps us going!  He is just at 25lbs at his last appointment a month ago.

He is slowly adding words, but is in love with animal sounds.  He knows a TON and some made up ones by Momma and Dada!  He will say the sound when asked "what does the ____ say?" to the following:

Cow, horse, pig, duck, goose, cat, dog, snake, bee, gorilla, turtle, catepillar, squirel, goat, sheep, dinosaur, bear, tiger, lion, fish, owl, wolf, spider (ewww! per Momma), chicken, elephant, alligator, monkey, and zebra, and I am sure a few others that I can't think of off the top of my head.

He loves being outdoors and playing with any type of ball.  Here he is on 4th of July!
