Beach ball

Cason and I went to Emma Prusch park to see the animals and meet up with friends for an annual event.  Unfortunately, there were beach balls brought which consumed his interest 90% of the time so we spent the time kicking, throwing, and chasing them for almost 2 hours.  Momma was wiped and so was Cason after this park date.

We have returned from the southern hemisphere.  Here is a quick picture that I took from my phone, so not the best one of the bunch.  Cason had a great time at Grammy Gigi and Pappa's house in Southern California.  They kept him busy with activties, and he wore them out by the end of it all.  More pictures to come, we survived the Amazon and our travels in Peru and now are back at work trying to catch up!

Well the So. Cal side had to put their two cents into the baseball team selection.  Cason may hate me in 10 years for these pictures if he grows up being a Giant's fan.

Sick toddler...uggg

You would never know it by these photos, but Oy!! was it a rough weekend with a sick toddler who whouldn't eat or sleep.  Cason ran a fever on Friday afternoon-Saturday afternoon, the doctor said they didn't know what was wrong, just a virus and to keep the fever down.  Well that led to no eating or sleeping and a cranky toddler with very little patience on Saturday and Sunday.  Monday we turned the corner and got some food in him which improved the sleeping but by then we were wiped.  On Tuesday he woke up bright and cheery with a huge appetite at breakfast.  Sigh...

Emma Prusch Farm Park

Cason is loves his animal sounds so we went to Emma Prusch Farm Park this weekend.  It is a City of San Jose park that is free and has chickens running wild.  Since he is napping now from 12-3ish we have to have early morning activities if we want to get out now.  So we made our way to the park and saw the pigs, goats, cows, turkeys, sheep, geese, and ducks.

Happy Mother's Day

Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day.  We had a relaxing weekend which included 3 hour afternoon naps from Cason.  We took advantage of them and got a lot of things done.  We should have taken naps ourselves, oh well, there is always next weekend.  I didn't get a  little man/momma picture today so I am posting pictures of Grammie and Cason from her last visit.  Happy Mother's day, Mom.
