Sleeping baby

Fifty percent of the time I am finding Cason in his crib on his tummy in every corner of the crib.  Now that he knows how to roll both ways he never stays the way we lay him down at night.  Often when he is put down awake we hear him kicking the crib or banging into it somehow.  Here is how I found him this morning.  He looks pretty comfy.  Nothing like a sleeping baby.

First Mother's Day

Cason, you are the best baby boy!  I had a great first mother's day and got very spoiled.  I got to sleep in (sort of, if you call 7:30 sleepin in), a great massage, brunch with Steve's family, flowers, a framed picture of Cason's footprint and handprint, and dinner out.  It was a very eventful day.  Thank you Cason (and your daddy!!) for such a great first Mother's Day.

Willow Glen 5K

Cason and I woke up early and participated in walking the Willow Glen 5K this morning.  There was a small group of new moms and the babies did great, mostly slept thought the whole race.  Cason was out   5 minutes before the race and woke up 5 minutes after I returned home.  So I had it really easy.  We all enjoyed the walk and the festivities.

Exersaucer time

Cason is just about ready for the exersaucer.  We have been putting him in it for about a week and he gets very excited and looks at all the stuff.  He is starting to grab things and so he reaches out for all the fun animals on the exersaucer, however he quickly gets frustrated as he can't pull them into his mouth.  He then tries to stand up and lean over to get the items into his mouth and gets mad when he can't quite reach them.  So, right now he only lasts about five minutes but he still has fun.

Jumping bean

Miss Tina sent this short video today of Cason in Jayden's jumperoo... looks like we need to go onto Craigslist and find one for the little man to jump at home.  The best part is that Cason needed a pillow underneath his feet just one week ago to touch the ground.  Today those tootsies are on the floor.  

Rolling around

Cason is rolling over all the time now, and yesterday I went to give him a bath and set him down on a blanket to run the water.  Well after about 2-3 minutes I walked back to find him off the blanket and on his tummy and wiggling around trying to figure out this thing called crawling.

Park playdate

Back in November/December I had a childbirth class and a few of the new mommies have been going to lunch when we were off on maternity leave.  Well now we are all back at work and decided to get together for a lunch playdate on the weekend since the weather was nice.  We had been going to some local restaurants, but decided that they were getting a little wiggly and we also wanted to enjoy the nice day so we had our first park excursion.  We finally brought the cameras and here are a few pictures of just the babies.  We have 3 boys and one girl today.
