Pirate Invasion

We took the kiddos to Pirate Invasion at the Northern California Renaissance Fair in Casa de Fruita on Saturday.  Thank you to John and Lori who provided the pirate garb and they looked great in theirs.  Next year we will plan a little bit better and get into the spirit with some clothes.  Cason had a great time dressing as a pirate and running around.  He wanted to see everything and was pretty brave trying new things.  We only made it until 1:00 and Rory passed out in Steve's arms and Cason pooped out early too with all the excitement and begged to go home.   The both slept the minute we hit the road until 4:00!  Next year we will last longer.

Weekend in So Cal… (aka Vacation for Daddy)

Cason, Rory and I went to So Cal for the weekend.  Daddy got a free weekend to himself!

Soccer returns

Cason has moved up and out of the Mommy/me class to the 3.5-4year old class.  He didn't even blink twice as I left to sit on the sidelines.  He loves soccer and the coaches are great with all the 3-4 year olds.  Rory is pretty jealous and wants to join in the fun.
