Pretend City
One of our daytime activities in So Cal was Pretend City. It was a big indoor building with more than a dozen small rooms representing a city. Cason enjoyed the gas station, fire station, grocery store, plumber construction, garden, library, dentist, and water area to name a few. Rory was perfect and slept the whole time letting her big brother run around and play.

3 months old - Rory
Wow how time flies when you have two! My kiddos are now almost tracking identically to each other on size. Rory is well into her 3-6 month clothes and 6 month sleepers. She is smiling up a storm at everyone and sleeping great. Last night she woke I only once at 3:00 and then up at 6:00. Both kiddos have only slept around 10 hours at night and she is now matching Cason's schedule which is great.
She's become a very happy easygoing baby who just likes to watch all the action which is usually Cason. With a few days left of maternity leave, I am going to miss my little sidekick who I have not left for much more than an hour since she was born. Here are a few pictures of our three month old since we are in So Cal and don't have our pooh bear with us.

Disneyland!
Well it was our first successful trip to Disneyland with the kiddos. Cason, Rory, Daddy, Mommy, Gigi and Papa piled in the car early this morning and arrived at 8:10. Cason was very excited and had a great time, the park for him started with the tram ride. We went on the big train, Smallworld, Toontown area houses, merry-go-round, Pirates! (scary said Cason) and Pooh bear. The first two hours it was quiet and then it started to get hot and busy. Cason made it until 2:00 and his head was on our shoulders on the way out. Here are the pictures from the day.

Lots of park play in So cal
We have been out hitting up all the parks around Gigi and Papa's house which Cason has enjoyed. Mommy has gotten her workouts in chasing and keeping up with Cason. Rory has endured the new schedule and had been a good baby. Here are the pics.

Construction zone
Well our backyard project is probably about half way done. I have learned a TON over the course of the past few weeks about a whole bunch of things.
First off would just be the paver process: excavating, dirt, sand, paver types and quality, prices, etc. you name it, I have probably dealt with it now.
Second, all the Companies out there for material supplies. They are actually quite close to our house which helps with checking out items. Also, everyone carries the same items for different prices, so a lot of phone calls for prices.
Contractors! Ah the best lessons are here. First off making quick decisions on things is super hard for me, I like to research, weigh all my options, ask others for feedback, then mull it over and come to a decision. Not in construction land. I have to make decisions about things in 24 hours to keep the job moving. Stressful when you don't quite know what you are doing. So selections on design, pavers, planters, fence color, etc, have been tough choices.
Second, I want their hours! Some days work 8 hours, 4 hours, 2 hours, etc. I know they are juggling multiple jobs, but jeez. It has been interesting being the customer regarding juggling jobs. I do this everyday as well and I understand better how my clients feel. Great lessons learned on how to communicate with them better and minimize their frustration of them not being my only priority.
Well enough about crazy contractors, here are done pictures of the progress.
