Cake date

Cason loves to bake now.  Well he actually likes to stir, lick the spoon and eat the end product.  All the good parts.  He had a cake date with his new friend Lilah, who is also the exact same age and shares Cason's birthday.  They had a great time and Cason even gave her a kiss goodbye!

2 months old - Rory

We took Rory to her two month appointment and got some shots.  She is growing big and weighed 12lbs 2 oz (90%), 24 inches long (95%), and head 15 inches (50%).  A little déjà vu as Cason was the exactly the same weight and height at his 2 month appointment.  She also has started to coo and smile at other people now.  Still working on sleeping but she goes down around 8:30 and promptly wakes at 6am for the day.  The cruel joke is that Cason on the otherhand has finally started to wake consistently at 6:30-6:45.  Sigh... only like 3 more years and we will get to sleep again.  Here are her 2 month pictures with pooh bear.

50 hours with Gigi

It was a whirlwind of 2+ days with Gigi in town for a quick trip.  So we packed in everything we could, shopping, books, bath time with Cason, a trip to "Peets" (no Starbucks Gigi), baby holding, etc.  Cason had a great time seeing Gigi and the new favorite, Sheldon, the turtle puppet.

 

Happy Mother's Day

We had a nice quiet Mother's Day which included a lot of extra sleep, some great gifts, mommy and Cason park time, and a good dinner.  Hope everyone else had a great day.  I managed to get Steve to snap a late picture right before bedtime of the kiddos and me.  Everyone was a little tired at this point, especially Rory.

Demo time

So it begins... Our first major house project ever! We are redoing our backyard and driveway. Probably doesn't actually count as "major" to most people, but for us it does. Here are some pictures from yesterday. Cason was in love with the bobcat being in our backyard.

Choo-choo train tracks

We have been building tracks everyday as we wait for daddy to come home. Here is today's creation. They are usually built around Rory and me sitting on the blanket. Then we clean it up and do it all over again the next day.
