Playing boat

If Cason climbs into something, someone else must play too per our demanding almost 2 year old.  Here is Cason and Mama playing boat in the kitchen.

Growing Up Too Fast!

Wow what a difference 9 months make!  Tina had sent me the first picture in January 2012 of the three boys (Aiden, Cason, Jayden) at lunch time.  Cason wanted to be with the big kids and sit on the bench to eat his lunch.  They took about 6 pictures that day, and this was the best one of the wiggly bunch.  The next picture was taken yesterday, what an improvement! lol  They are getting so big.

Kauai pics

We had a great time in Kauai at the end of July.  Cason did great on the plane flights over there and actually slept which surprised us greatly.  It was early morning starts for all of us since there was a 3 hour time change which meant that Cason's usual 6 am wake up started out day 1 with a 3:00 wake up call.  Eventually day by date we got it back down to 6 am, but it was a rude awakening for Ryan and Jeannette who aren't used to a toddler waking them up every day.  We had wild chickens and kitties outside our condo which Cason became obsessed with.  He call out "bock bock" and went running out to find them every chance he got.

The weather was great with a little rain (or a lot at one point) most of the days.  We got to do some kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, swimming, and sand castles.

Day 1 - naptime at the beach

We are back!

Well it has been a long month and a half, and here is a quick post.  We have lots of pictures to catch up as well.  The world turned a little crazy on us and we are now digging ourselves out.  Work is super stressful with the only other gov't manager quiting in August, just before busy season.  That added about 7 jobs to my fall schedule!  Then the big news!

We are expecting kiddo #2!  Cason is going to be a big brother.

With all this came the difficult 1st trimester, with fatigue, sickness, etc.  We are due in March.  Very excited!

Here are a few pictures of Cason threading beads.  As you can see his hair is long and is in desperate need of a haircut.  We are already neglecting him.  :)
