Water at the museum

Nanny Tina took Cason and Jayden to the Children's museum this week.  I haven't even dared to go into the water zone yet, but it looks like we will be venturing that way next time we are there.  Cason loved the water and would just stand there getting squirted in the face.  A change of clothes is a must says Tina, I think I will believe her.

Molars

Uggg... teething!  Cason had two molars break through this week and I think more are on the way soon.  Molars really don't bode well for a good night's sleep.  He was up at 3am and 5am with his hands in his mouth.  Poor little guy and sleepy mommy.  Hopefully the other ones break though soon and give us all some relief.

Next size up!

Look who is fitting into 18-24 month old clothes, well at least the for the tops.  Cason is still swimming in the length of the pants at that size.  So we are starting to have to deal with the mismatched sizes.  So here is a picture of him in a new sweater with 12-18 month old pants (rolled up) on.  This 14 month old is all over the charts.

Whole foods

Gotta love Whole Foods!  They added a play area for toddlers at our Whole Foods, so now we can entertain Cason while also doing our shopping.  He is a really good shopper, but it is also nice to let him get out and play with all the toys.  He was having so much fun he wouldn't look up for the camera much.

Little sand lover

Cason loves the sand and toy shovels.  He found this one at the park while with Nanny Tina and continually shoveled sand behind his head.  Unfortunately as you can see it doesn't always make it over his shoulder and it lands on him, in his hair, down his shirt, etc.  He gets so messy now Tina has to bring a change of clothes to the park.  Boys.

14 months

Cason, you are officially a toddler now and no longer a baby.  This month you have learned to climb on the couch and bed without any help.  You are feeding yourself your breakfast and milk and won't let us help out.   You love music in the car and we have listened to the Toddler CD's dozens of times already.  You are trying to talk and mimic us.  The park is the best, you discovered sand and we frequent the slide which you can go down by yourself now.

Here is our last playdate with your toddler friends.

Lake Tahoe

We got lucky this year and made a trip up to Lake Tahoe after the one week it snowed.  It was a great getaway with some skiing, good food, and family all with a one year old.
